Here we elaborate our reflections on the learnings of our course "Workshop on Logistics & Supply Chain Managmenent". It consisted of 5 company visits (TAL, Kerry, Hactl, Yakult, HIT) and an extensive study of 3 cases (TAL, 7-11 Japan, FedEx).
The goal of this wiki is to show what we have learned and to objectively reflect on these learnings. You will find brief company backgrounds about each company, followed by various approaches we utilized to fully show you the acquired knowledge.
Every company is different in its core characteristics, therefore different logistics and supply chain approaches are necessary. Through our newly acquired knowledge we realize that the supply chain aspect contributes to the organizations effectiveness and efficiency. Furthermore we faced different challenges and issues in every company we studied.
